About me
Sydney Geyer is a Senior Children's Librarian at Brooklyn Public Library, where she structures programming and curates print and digital collections for BPL's youngest readers. She holds a BA in American Studies from the University of Virginia and an MLIS from the University of Washington, where she acted as co-chair for iYouth, the institution's committee on children's services. In addition, Sydney serves as a programming director for Camp Read-a-Rama, an organization dedicated to advancing literacy among readers in marginalized communities and centering the literary work of BIPOC creators.
